Donkey

 I recently responded to someone in upstate New York that wanted a Uber to a local veterinarian. They specifically asked me if I would take a dog and I said yes no worries I have towels in my car. I got to the address and waited the full 3 minutes and still no one came out, finally as I was getting ready to leave a woman came out with a donkey on a chain, I said ma'am that's a farm animal she said no I realize that but I need to get my donkey to the veterinarian, said you need a horse trailer she said I don't know anyone with a horse trailer that's why I called an Uber this woman actually thought she would put a full size donkey in my car to bring it to the veterinarian, I've had a lot of fun experiences over the years driving Uber, this specific one had me laughing so hard I had a cramp in the side of my stomach she could not get over that I was going to cancel this ride because her donkey needed to get to the vet. I understand people's dilemmas when it comes to not having a license or a car to get around but she specifically said she had a big dog and I said to her I'm not sure you know the difference between a dog and a donkey she said no I do I said I don't think you do And secondly who has a farm animal in their house this wasn't a farm this was an older Victorian home. I never thought by driving Uber I would come across these circumstances where people have no clue or could care less sometimes I think I just do this for the entertainment and not the money regardless I just get a big kick out of it, thank God I got a good sense of humor this is just one instance where my humor comes into play. And no I did not take this woman or her donkey to the veterinarian I actually backed out went about quarter mile and had to get out because I was laughing that hard I hope to stick around for some more Uber stories that I get and I will blog about them here thank you.
